Saber Owner Unite!

Who is Planning to attend the Wiener Run?

Doug and Myself are planning to be there and are looking forward to meeting everyone, sharing a soda, telling stories and having some fun on the water.

I"ll be there friday afternoon, not sure where I'll be staying yet, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love the input. Later I'll post when Doug will be there and also where we end up staying.

Lets all keep in touch and hope for a good time for all.

not me wish I was ,no motor but going to pick up the parts a friend was there to day it was not even a short block so it wasn't painted zero going on two years in aug:eek:, Iam done putting a ride together for next week going to use the guy in maine just going to bring him the boat maybe let him rig it two he can do it in 3 weeks that installed ready to go. I will post his info kurt said to use him two yrs ago he rigs dynos does a lot of drives too. june 3 Ihave had my new boat for 8months why am I not happy thanks Dean you can keep the tenns unit for your back that Ibought and gave you for your back.

When do you plan to go?

We will bring Mike Wieland's 28. He' is getting a procharger on now and should be done and ready by then, If not my boat is the back up plan.

So far it looks like this.

I think Dan Adams was going to TRY to bring WW - or his 42 fountain as a back up

either later on friday or early saturday

I talked to Jim (the harbor master) from Lakeside Yacht Club, and explained that we have a goup of boats and would we would like to be in a group. I've sent him a list of boats and sizes and he will do his best to accomidate us.

When everyone shows to get their assigned slips be sure to tell them that you are with Saber Marine. See ya all there.

hope the weather forcast changes by the weekend, right now they are calling for t-storms.

never plan around the weather when you live in this area... if you do you will never leave the house.

WW won't be at the wiener run this year.

So true ! Saturday and Sunday both coulda been a wash ... once we got between the islands they were both great days of boating !

Guys ... get Clifford a spot ... I won't need the dock until we return after the run sat. afternoon .

To much work to do, I really want to get down there. It looks like the end of june....

Man , you know our season only lasts about 3 hours ... Get down here and enjoy ! We are gonna get a touch of rain anyway , so throw some towels at your buddies and bingo ! :evilb:

Had a great time, pleasure meeting some of you guys and putting faces to names. Definately have to come back to the area for some more boating in the future. I would post some pics but I still havent figured out how to resize for OSO.

I had a great time. I was great meeting all of you. I cant thank Mike and Lexi enough for waiting on us and letting us ride with them, and a big thanks to Pat and Doug for their help. And i think Eric needs an award for the last 28 standing. Thank you for towing us in.

On the way home Lesley told me the lessons learned were - ALWAYS help out a fellow boater and you can NEVER have enough beer in case of an emergency:ernaehrung004:

Sorry to hear about the breakdowns ... It happens unfortunately .

There's another run out of Sandusky Bay on the 26th ... maybe see some of ya at that one too ?

we were actually planning on heading up that way and have dock reservations at kelley's the 26th... i am still holding the reservations but i am doubting i will be back on the water by then.

Your welcome, but I don't think I did much. Did you finalize a plan for your drive?
Lesley, we did have a few boy scouts in the bunch, next time we need one to carry panty hose.

It's a good-time fun run thats been going on for 8 - 10 years Pat !

This year the plan is as follows ...

Friday nite mixer at Lymans in Sandusky (TBD)

As always ... Meet in front the rollercoasters in Sandusky Bay about 11am .... Head west to the new Cleats at Marina Del Isle lunch stop .... after that its a quick trip over to Kelleys Island .

It's a good way to get to know the Erie Islands area ... AND ... you can sneak over to Put in Bay for a bit if you want !?
