what it great time it was. it was nice meeting some you guys friday night before you hit the lake. we ran the first leg saturday to muskegon. wish we could have ran the rest of the day with all of you. what a blast watching a bunch of 28's running together. and of course billls 34 and wickedwon. i have always had a soft spot for sabers since meeting the saber boys back in 1986, and becoming good friends with them. all of you guy's have a very special boat. keep them up and running. my best, hope you do it again next year in gh.

Well Said Dan! There are alot of good boats out there, but tuff to find a 28 that rides better the most 35s. Mikes 25 yr. old 28 doesn't have a stress crack anywhere. The 34 is solid running also and as you well know the 41 can't be matched either.

Keep in mind the vintage of these boats. The youngest of the 28s is 14 years old. The oldest, 25 years. Then consider what kind of water they have hammered through most of their lives.
We had a little 70 mile run in fair size chop with a dozen Sabers. Everyone ran hard and nothing broke. Try it with a dozen old Fountains, Cigs or what have you. |
it looks like you guys had a lot of fun, wish we made it. can't believe I am still 2 weeks from hitting the water.but between having the tank reworked and surgery in july 7th .
