Default Saber Logo Lighted Cover

Thought I would share this little project. It is a cover plate to cover up the hole in my fairing where the old stereo remote was. Have a friend who owns a machine shop, one of his guys took the logo and converted it into CAD/CAM, then CNC'ed the cover and poly backer for me. The poly backer is grooved on the edges to accept some LED strips I have, and the back surface I painted black to you cant see through to the hole in back. The intent is to hook the LED's to the cockpit light switch and when it is on the logo will glow blue(blue LED's). I hope it works like I want, hopefully get it in this weekend and try it out. Pics arent great but you get the idea.

Going to try without a dimmer to start, if I need one I can always add it.

That's sharp. Should give your boat a nice custom look.
