Default tight fit

I had 80+ hours into squeezing these pumps in. They work like a champ tho. They pull in some serious water (and anything else nearby).

How's the project coming? Were you able to collect all the pieces you needed?

Starboard comes out underneath. Port comes out on the side cause that motor is counter rotating.
Check out the fuel pump clearance. Sizing the belts was a biotch.

Hey Jason, I got sidetracked by summertime. Had to put a crashbox on the starboard side cause that tranny has puked at least 4 times in 3 years, I lost count. On the bright side we figured out why. The piston "cylinder", looks more like a shallow cast iron bowl with a hole in the center had a hairline crack in it. This lets the pressure bleed off allowing the clutch discs to slip and poof, gone.

I did get some Weldon pumps. It's a winter project for sure.

Jason, I will miss the look of the 14-71s. The conversion is still in the parts gathering stages. Sea pumps are on. I have, fuel pumps and the Whipples, used but fresh. I don't know if PSIs would fit between the exhaust. Still need chillers. I was going to make some but thats a ton of time spent just for "2". All I can say for sure is something new for her will happen this winter.
You must be pumped for loto this year! Best wishes man!

"'The conversion is still in the parts gathering stages."

Glad I'm not the only one, however I'm getting some things together... I'm with you the 1471's looking way hardcore, as would the "top loader 5.0's" ... haha !!!! Can't wait to see it all together for you bro..

As for Loto: Coolerman your boat was beyond impressive last year & I wish you the best !!!
