It's time for some new Saber action. Saber Marine has got things lined up to start a new boat soon. If anyone is interested or knows of some interest point them our direction. If no-one jumps on board right away then we are going to build a spec boat, probably a 28 Offshore twin. What does the Saber Nation think the perfect spec boat would be?
We have been working to update a few things such as interior and graphics to go with the proven Saber hulls. We will also take any current Saber owners boat on trade for someone looking to upgrade. Call or e-mail for more details.
"[email protected] " or (616) 837-6666.
More details to follow.
thanks, Doug Geelhoed

Great News ! Idea's ????
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Always thought an all business 28' like
Wicked Won would be the ticket.
But take it a step furthur, since power
Package's are so much more reliable these
days...
Whats your thought's on a Single Engine
#6 boat like Check300's you did the work on?
Power doesn't need to be 1,500hp,..but it could be.
But I also think anything from 700 to 1,200
with a #6 would be the bullet proof set up.
Still balance well in the CG's and still balance
well in the pocket book when compared
to twin everything??

Those are all great dream builds....
But for a spec. build I'd stick with the twin small blocks and bravo drives... It will be pretty good on fuel and should post some good performance numbers when dialed in. The other idea for a spec. build would of course be a single 496 with a bravo... But the only thing with a single this size is that you probably aren't going to raise any eyebrows with its performance. You want to plant the seed in their mind and then let the custom builds come to you.

In Regards to performance the 30' Check I'm discussing
with a single #6 runs 114 to 117 with single 1,500 turbo.
I think 700 to 1200 hp still extremly respectable and eyebrow raising.
1 less drive in the water, less weight to carry and fuel
And this 1,500 turbo is great on fuel, it's never in the boost
for your normal driving.
If you hit the sticks,...it drinks accordingly at that point.
