I would go either twin outboards , or single merc 600 sci / illmor 725 to keep cost down versus twin screws on a 28ft spec. boat , your speed would still up there . |
What price range would a 28 with twin small blocks be in?
|
There are a few different ways to go with small-blocks. Merc has a 383 "stroker" package available, rated at 350 HP with EFI, and can be had with a 3 year factory warrentee. A pair of those would make a sweet, no-fuss package. Give me a call @ (616) 837-6666 and I would be happy to give a quote.

--- Doug Any thoughts on some Twin Turbo Small blocks? Fuel injected etc. Low compression, great on fuel, and great power when the sticks are leaned on? Jon |
Twin turbo SBC, Wow!! Tons of potential there, just not aware of a sorted out marine package that I would turn over to a customer, and I don't want to be the guinea pig.
