Good to see the new build. I have been off line for a while. didn't touch the boat this yr to pissed off. but on one test run I hit 80gps with 30k planes 3/4 the way down at 5000rpm with either one of the 30 or 32 5 blades. it should run to 6400 rpms. that's with DEANs GELLNERS1100 hp motor. Gerry and I have the bigger pulley on it so its a lil less hp now. just paid 2yrs of college and have 2 more. plus wife lose her job at staples as a programmer. they laid off most of them and hired a company from India to hire there people. so phuck Staples everyone. anyway that's why u have not seen anything on my saber. but I plan on either remove the konrad sell it, buy a scx. or see if its worth having the hull straightened out. no rocker and add hook. or just piece it out, . on the new boat did u guys do inserts for your feet. that's next on my plans if I keep the boat. this way u would have wedges to put your feet on . one on floor one up a foot or so. so if your sitting you can push yourself in to the seat. like most of the new boats now. I plan on going maybe a 1/4 to a1/3 in would, that way u still have the head on the left and there's more space on drivers side anyways. that would improve a lot on comfort when driving hard. grafx look's cool. I wish u guys the best. wish I just raised my x and put that new bravo x on there ran it to fine tuned it, then had Pete Nopper marine do his custom build to it. its working on the 31 sutphen ernie has been driving with 950 hp. it lasted 3 pokerrun seasons. a mod xr. well hope you guys raise the x my is at 17'' = about 3 1/2 ''. for a single 8'' on the box. so if you do any singles a 16 1/2'' x should be fine with a 4 blade. I get on plan with ease with either 4 or 5 blades. if I go to a scx or xr I plan on leaving my x where it is. and will give my numbers with a 4 and 5 blade to you guys. I have a stock b1 lol that we will try 1st then order a new drive with what ever length we think is best stock or 1 or 2'' shortie. this way if you build a single you will have info that might help. well congrats I wish you guys the best.
