Just saw this. Wondering how it works with the 300's. Looks like an Awesome Rig.

The boat will be a beast, and run mid 70'S.
This is not the first outboard boat saber has build on the 28 platform.
approximately 5 outboard boats have been built over the years including one with triple 2.5
Its a proven set up!!!!

Any pictures of it in the water? Looking at it on the trailer, I don't really like the way it looks with the out boards. However it is a very intriguing boat with tons of room and a 100 times better then a center console fish boat!

I think that looks sensational except for the rear lounge....
Takes up lots of space and won't seat any more people than a conventional lounge (3-4). Can't please all the people all the time.

I guess if I dropped a lazy 180k on the table they'd talk to me and build what I like. External lines are a little bit old school, which I like, and 300 Verados look so easy. Active Thunder and now Saber are setting the standard for entry level go fast, well done!

Kinda of crazy that a entry level performance boat is priced @ $ 180 k MSRP , I need to win the Lotto so I can get back in the game

I bet that this boat could be bought for $ 120 to $ 130 k after negotiations but still a LOT of money to get back in the game

Kinda blows my mind when people complain about cost of a product. Don't forget about the cost of building rent, heat, insurance and employees wages. I never realized until I took over running to family biz! Ooh don't forget about workers comp insurance too! My comp insurance cost me close to $275. Per day!! These are all factors of a biz.... Can't do things for cost and keep doors open... I was @ Saber for most every day of this build and was floored at what goes into a build! I doubt $120-$130k would buy this boat.

I saw this boat a the Miami boat show it looks even better in person you can see the craftsmanship that Doug puts into his boats. IMO the flat deck looks better than any raised deck and you still have cabin room due to the deep vee.
Also as for the price I think it's priced competitively it's new.

Awesome build! I talked to Doug about building this exact boat (with a few minor rigging differences) last year but the price was out of my range so I went with a used boat. Great to see Saber producing another awesome boat. I wish they would have posted the build process on OSO.
