Default 1993 Saber 28' For Sale - Hull #10

I just listed my boat in the classifieds last Thursday and have had several people reach out to me with interest. I have mentioned this in other threads but I thought it would be good to gather information in a new thread. I have learned a lot about these boats in the last few years but more specific information on my particular boat in the last week. It was owned by the Betten brothers originally and then went on to several other owners. Unfortunately when I bought it there was not a lot of documentation that came with it, only what I heard from the previous owner. I'd love to know more about this boat if you have any information. Hoping to give the new owner more documentation so they know the history. Thank you in advance. Below is what I know:

Overall Details
1993 Saber Built October 1992
Featured in Powerboat Magazine
Hull #10
502 EFI Magnum was not the original motor in this boat since EFI didnt come out till 1996
Bravo 1 outdrive
Must have been reupholstered at some point since the 2nd owner says its not the original color. Rear sun deck needs to be reupholstered again. I was going to do this but decided against it in case new owner wanted to change colors.
Engine was rebuilt or replaced @950 hours (Likely replaced since EFI came in 1996)
Hull had 1526 Hours on it 6/17/2017 when it was surveyed
Not sure how many hours were on it when I purchased but there are currently 1592 hours on it as of 5/18/2024 (Only 66 hours over the last 7 years)
Survey only noted fire extinguisher outdated and no ladder for swim platform
Boat has only been in fresh water
Single AL tank located under cockpit
As of 9/22/2017 engine had only 42 scanned hours according to ad. Not sure if this is when the engine was replaced or rebuilt
Boat is in excellent shape cosmetically and mechanically. Everything works besides the trim gauge. Sensor were replaced in 2022 and perhaps need adjustment
Triple axle R&D Trailer included. 1680 Lbs documented on CAT Scale 8000 GVWR. New wheels and tires in 2017

Maintenance
All new belts - 7/13/2020
Duracell Ultra Deep Cycle Battery 800MCA 650 CCA SLI31MDC - 7/2/2022
SLI24MAGMDC Duracell Ultra BCI Group 24M 12V 78AH 800CCA AGM Deep Cycle Marine & RV Battery Dual Purpose - 12/3/2022

Cool! What was the weight number in the magazine? I couldn't read it, too small. Looks like it had fuel injection when the article was published.

I cant read it either, picture quality isnt good enough. I looked for the article online and couldnt find it. It does look like the same engine type as whats in it now.
