Haven't decided 100% on the rest of em' but so far I'm definitely going to the following events with the Apache;

1. NYC PR
2. Barnegat
3. Pt. Pleasant Race
4. Long Island Race (volunteer)
5. Brunch Run
6. Hot Toddy

If I can find a truck to tow with I may go up to LKG.

LOTO is another good one for everyone to come to. Lake is small but it is quite the experience. 13000 boats last year. I will be doing the run prior to the weekend then putting her on the trailer for the weekend and getting blasted. Lake is way too crowed IMO to run on the weekend... like a freeway of boats. We had fun on Thursday and Friday last year before it got silly. Plus Sean and Anthony will have open slips at their houses this year again:evilb:

I plan on having the boat at:
Texoma
Travis
Grand
LOTO
Clear Lake
Quachita

and flying to a few races and to Lake George, the Hot Toddy and Key West.

Unless I hit the LOTTO tonight for 340 million and then I will be dead by the weekend of some sort of overdose.

Masher, we will have to see if we can hook up festivities on Thurs. and Fri of the LOTO shootout at one of the fine establishments. Randy Wild did a great job last year at Dog Days and I bet we can talk someone into the same thing for Thursday. The run on Friday is the chit though when there is good weather.

So........ what's your thoughts on this run:

Jammin on the James Poker Run July 14th

Hosted By:: RPBA - Richmond Power Boat Association
When:: Saturday Jul 14, 2007 at 8:00 AM
Where:: Hopewell - Jordan Point Marina, Hopewell, VA 23860
Benefit is the Shriners Hospital as always, Typical 5 stop Poker Run, Jordan Point, Jamestown, Smithfield Station, Tiki Bar on the Eastern Shore, Portsmoth Yacht Basin. 100+ boats this year, Staggered Start, $325 entry fee per boat for 2 people, then 150/per every additional person. This is the premier Poker Run in the Area, some of the wildest boats from all over the country and the party's.... WOW.... It gets all sort of wild. Entry fee includes, 2 meals (high class), Live Band, dinner party, 2 drink tickts, T-shirts, DVD from Helicopter and party, 1 poker Hand with 1000 to 150 pay off, and the infamous Victoria's Secret award is for 500 to Victories Secret. I would like a crew of 4-6 people again for this event. I will likely leave from the Chickhominy River about 7:30am SHARP, The boat will not return until Sunday afternoon after a few Beach stops to chill in the sun and swim, have lunch...

I think its funny how people compain about NYC being too expensive... I just paid $600 for 5 people for NYC... This would cost $775......

The DVD is cool but the pot small ($1K) compared to $5K.

Either way I heard its a fun run!!!!

Each one has its advantages and disadvantages.

NYC is similar to Barnegat in how it's a point-to-point run with the exception of NYC having the marina to keep the boat at overnight. :chick:
