just replaced mine on my '80 30 flat deck with SEAFIT stainless louvered which come in 5 or 6 louvers. Nearly a direct replacement. West marine has them...also eddiemarine has the same style and powdercoats them any color you need them....i am nearing the final days to the launch of my boat which has been 100% rebuilt after a year on the stands....I can provide lots of help in a lot of areas for anyone seeking info on the 30's. good luck

Good lead, - I spent two weeks and a gallon of stripper to prep my vents and walkplates back to base metal for powdercoat. They came back great, but the coater said he could have prepped in no time for nothing more. Uggh!
My '89 is in pretty good shape. I sure could use help with the underdash wiring though. There's apparently been numerous things added and removed by previous owners in 15+ years. The SELOC Murcruiser book helps but anything Scarab specific would be a good roadmap to start with.

I had to file the edges a little and the holes were a C.H. off But that did not mater because we filled all the old holes when she was repainted so i am re drilling everthing. Just rewired the entire dash on my 30 and learned alot ...looks sick
i am going to splash any day now after a year on the hard pack any questions about building, rebuilding, restoring or fixing an older scarab i might have an answer. Because there ain't a thing that did not get replaced, rethought, rebuilt, or removed . E-mail me for pics of the project or with questions
or suggestions
