It feels more solid at high speed and the fit and finish seems to be better all around.

Re: 22 Scarab VS 23 Scarab
Thanks for the info.
I had a 22 in 97' and thought it was a great boat for the size (I always thought it was under powered with a 454). Im looking to purchase a boat in the same size this winter and have only seen the 23 in pics. I know the 22 handled great and if the 23 is better maybe I should look harder at the 23. My main concern is the console between the two seats. does this eat up a lot of room and make it hard to move around in the boat?

You didn't opt for the garden bathroom option??
My thought was more when hanging in a cove and having access to the dash to change a disk or get a cold beverage from the cooler. From your pics it looks much easyer to get into the front of the cuddy than the 22. (easy access to the cooler thats a good thing!)
but everyones point is well taken about fit & finish, construction and performance and that is why I'm looking at the boat in the first place.
Thanks again for your info.

It is definitly not easy to get under the deck if you are 5-11 and 200 lbs. Lots of room up there but if you dive down there before you move the seat back you are in for a sqeeze.
The finish is great in there . Pillows are well fitted and lots of under deck boxes.

The 23' retailed for about twice the 22'. Most dealers wouldn't order the 23' because of the price difference. The 23' is fantastic if you can find one.
