Came across this today and figured you Scarab guys would get a kick out of it. There was one of these in Northern Mass in the 80's called Tough Noogies, was all black and went to FL and Cali was last sighting.

I can't believe the bidding hasn't gone a lot higher - I'd put her away til spring and list again. Theres got to be a lot of people like me waiting until next year to see where the boat market goes.

Same thing happened last October when I put it on Ebay. The top bid was $15000.00. If I dont seel I may try in the spring. As It is right now I am finally getting into rebuilding the motor and doing it in anticipation of keeping it. No half ass job.

Sorry, don't mean to cut in, CMG, you mentioned a black Scarab, that was in Mass. I bought a black 38 Scarab in Mass, back in '97 The name on the side was "ANCHORED" Do you remember seeing this boat??? Any info would be helpful.

The back of the boat had letters that stated the boat was from Boston Mass. But I picked the boat up from a marina near Cape Cod, On our sea trial, the guy pointed to a piece of land and said that was Martha's Vineyard. Any info would be great. Thanks Todd..
