Looking for a Scarab Excel 28
#11
Boat is currently winterized without the motor. I dont plan on working on the boat till spring. I will try to find some photos of the interior and motor for you. I was not planing on selling it for another season or two but its available if someone asks
I built the boat for poker runs and posibably P4. This spring I will be adding comunicators, throtle and trim controls for the port side. The boat will currentl do 80+ when light on fuel. I already have another boat in mind when I am finnished with this one

Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing some pics.
Do you have more detailed info about the engine? Like components, machine work, hours etc.
Have you rebuilt the upper unit of the Bravo drive to take the 600hp? If so - how?

tomas,
I appreciate your interest, but I really think that I will hold onto my 28 for another season. I'm looking very seriously at relocating to the Lake Norman region of North Carolina and it is a perfect size boat for that area.
If you find a good 28 excel, you will enjoy it!
Paul's boat seems like a good one from what I have heard.

KMiller, did the boat come with that hatch? I have been looking for that same identical hatch for my CV. I want to get rid of my sunpad/scooped hatch for the lighter one like yours. Any info is appreciated.

The ones I found for sale here on OSO were posted 2001-2003, I assume they are long gone...
