I have the mounts that have no adjustment. They are also a PITA to work with.
I have replaced my stringers and am thinking of using the IMCO mounts like in pic 2.
Anyone know why that rear motor mount was installed?
Any opinions on which is better?

Those rear mounts are usually used in a staggered application where the motor sits farther up front then its side counterpart and a drive-shaft is used to connect to the drive.....thus the rear of the engine has no support like it would have from the inner transom plate mounts. Hope that helps
