i have an 87 excel and need a swim platform. the old one is lost. the previous owner removed it because the exhaust hit it when he had a new motor and drive installed.there are two small brackets on the boat from the old one. if a platform was run across from bracket to bracket it would hit the exhaust by about two inches(it needs to be two inches higher). thanks for any ideas.

extreme marine has a bunch of great looking tubular swim platforms they can custom fit to any application. I am probably gonna get one this winter. I have seen their work and it is great.
