Default Anyone know this Scarab 29 in Dallas

Looking for a stock Fresh Water 29 Single close to Houston. Had my last boat, 27 Regal w/ twin 5.7's in Galveston and know the salty issues. Not interrested in top speed or twins with Whipples, blowers, ect..... Will be heading up to Austin to look at several up there over the long weekend as well.

Thanks in advance.

Salty isues? If the boat has been taken care of there are none. Trailer kept , flushed and covered. I can't believe people that instantly think a boat is junk if it's run in salt. My 29 I bought bottom painted. I know it has been left in the water for a season .I had kept it in for 2. Yes it's a little more to clean but I have had not 1 issue fron the "salt" water on my 94 29.

Hunster, Thanks for your input. As i said i'm just looking for a low hour lake kept boat. Call me crazy. I have been boating on the Gulf Coast (Galveston) for my entire 43 years and only recently spent ANY time on a fresh water lake (Lake Travis, Austin , Tx) and I am TOTALLY amazed at the condition of the engines on a strictly visual basis alone as compared to what a salt water kept boat "generally" looks like for a like age craft.

Cheers.
