Hull Identification Number on Scarab III
 

Anyone know where the 2nd HIN is on scarab III's? I'm going to need to be prepared to show it (if it ever floats again).

Theres two ?...I only know the Starb. transom ??

It's required... I've heard of ppl having to remove some rubrail to show it, but my complete rubrail is off... must be under the cap somewhere (?)

i would like to know where it is as well. when i drilled out the holes for the new exhaust on my III the stbd. one came out exactly where the HID# was at. problem was I started with the port side and didnt realize till the damage was already done. i keep the little puck in my dash storage just in case(not that it would do me any good :rolleyes: :D )

never heard of any boat having two. might it be on the plate with the passengers load rating in the cockpit?

I just got the news from wellcraft...

Won't be a second vin on a 1986 model didn't do them till mid 90s.
