Hey I'm getting my 28ft scarab excel together, and I want to put a hatch to vent the cabin so I can sleep on it without baking at night. What is the general rule on location of these, center of the cabin????

Whenever you put it in make sure that the hinge is in front; my old scarab had it the other way and almost blew the hatch cover off, my newer scarab is with the hinge bow forward and if left partially open just blows shut. Good luck. - Jeff
