Looks very similar to LS Scarab but in some ways it doesn't. Some of the rigging doesn't look quite right.

Hull Identification Number: GAB0007K495, the hull id doesn't look right. Darned sure its not Wellcraft number and didn't LS use SQE in the hull identification. It is a good looking boat though.

What do you guys think?

Does anybody know the history on this boat???? I could think of a better set-up then trp. 502efi's.....

I agree. Notice the tabs are notched to clear the drives? It's the GAB builder id that has me puzzled. This boat is now listed on OSO in the boats/scarab. It definitely looks like an LS Scarab hull.

Maybe the 502's were installed as throw down engines, or either this was a restoration that had no drives or power to start with.

I like the drivers station.

Appears the Eddie Morenz is the owner of Great American Concepts. Two LS Scarab threads mentions Eddie name and two boats he built, one of them was all white with trips. Most likely this boat we are talking about.

I Was involved with both Team Scarab and Great American and was Involved with this boat, Larry and Eddie were involved
in a lot of Joint Projects.
Eddie is dead now and Team Scarab is Closed.
The Computers that" do not work now" were part of a Prototype auto control system.
Very state of the art stuff.
