Nice job. I wish I could have had #6's on mine. I currently have an IMCO being rebuilt!!!

Love seeing this, I did our transom in our 30 and it was a chore, also I like the naturals , to many poeple think you need to have huffers to run fast and reliable.

Looks GREAT Jonas! I guess you didn't need my help after all.... Bummer, no business trip to Sweden for me then, just pleasure!

Awesome job there bro! Just finished my 34 with outboards, but haven't done my transom like yours.... yet. Good idea with all fiberglass, prolly give me the strength I need for my heavily modified bracket / triple V8 outboard setup. Post as miny pictures as you got, I'm sure we all will highly appreciate them.
Tacker saa mycket! |
Hej,
Those engines sound nice! #6's, yahoo. @ what RPM you spinning those babies up to? very nice work-thank you for sharing. gociggie31 |
Jonas...didnīt I tell you that your transom was rotten and you didnīt believe me at first...donīt ask me how I felt that way.
But the transom cutout pic looks good now ! A question Jonas..why did you end up installing the trim planes Not horizontally while you were anyway glassing ? Now while you trim it they slow down almost as much as help. |

Great Conversion, would love to see more during pics and how they did the all glass transom...may be one of my next works....
|
Great pics...Thanks!

Jonas. Any more pictures of the transome install? How did you know to do the transom that way (in all glass) What products did you use?
|
I'm with you Phughes. I've been waiting tentatively for Jonas to give us some insight into the all glass rebuild. I read & hear about so many ways to rebuild a transom & would relish the idea of all glass. I just need some insight into the preparation, dos & don'ts. Talk to us Messiah....
