the p-29 had around 415 hours on it. drive oil change in the spring as well as engine oil. 2 new water pumps and various new hoses. Tune up on 8-15-08. Great boat! engines and drives are perfect, boat just needs some minor cosmetic work.

I want one bad! I got married this summer and we have been paying everything off sense were under one roof and it feels good. I can get one now I'm just trying to be financially responsible so I won't have to worry about bills I should be paying when I'm filling the boat up. Time is the only thing in the way. I'm five years with the Nova now and the Itch has started. Maybe Mike will be ready to pass the torch with the P38 then.

I just started using the thing. I had it out of Newport this weekend for a short (17mi each way) jaunt up to Long Beach to check out the SCOPE poker run boats. It ran Flawlessly, didn't seem to burn any oil and hit just over 75 in the breakwater. Port motor is still running a little cold (100-110 max) vs. the Starboard motor (135-140 since replacing the t-stat).

Dan, if the right deal comes around for a P-29, you should jump on it. I have somewhat regretted purchases in my live, but never as much regret as letting something I wanted slip through my fingers. My P-38 is a $520 a month payment, but if I didn't pay that I'd be paying for something else . I figure I might as well enjoy life. I make the money in the house so my wife lets me do whatever I like.....Mike

2009 will be the year I've waited this long I'm going to stick to the plan. The main reason is I'm 100% commission 10yrs same dealer hometown and I have been blessed. But for years I juggled plane payment, truck payment, credit card, bikes, boat, house on just my income and kept 700 beacon score. Sold it all but the boat invested the house $$ and moved in the new brides house. I know I'm like every other post on this thread but there's a plan behind my madness. Your right Mike this isn't no dress rehearsal you only have one go around.
