I've seen a few p-29's and none, including mine, had ladders on top of the swim platform. My ladder was under the platform between the outdrives. Some p-29's have hour meters on the dash, above the keys, others do not!? dont know why some of these boats were different than others!

From the factory all the P-29s are the same, there are not any options. But in pics I have looked at some of the ladders are in the middle of the platform while others are on the far left and on top in the middle.

For the record, I owned P-29 #5 and sold it to a dealer in Green Bay (ShipYard Marine), and I think it ended up at Shogren. I believe there are (2) other P-29's in Green Bay that have been there for a while. Hands down, the best set up v hull package with small block power. Ran it thru 3-4 footers at 75 MPH all day with a smile on my wife's face. There is one in Chi-Town with Pro-Chargers - 550 each that runs in the high 90's. He said that's about it for the hull. Over 100 can be reached with Offshore K-Planes to make the hull think it's longer than 29 feet, but it's a wild ride....

I was surfing the web when I came across this site. I had a P29 new in 1997. I sold it in 1999-00 to a drag racer in West Chester PA. I was told he was going to use it in Northeast MD. I had a custom aluminum Myco trailer with drive guard built for this boat. Does anyone recall seeing this boat or know the whereabouts of it. I still have the original documentation and lots of pictures of this great boat. My wife became pregnant with our first child, and that forced the sale of it. I wish I would have held onto it because it was always stored indoors and was in prisitne condition. I am having a hard time finding anything to replace it with.
