Default Guages 'n stuff

Hi all,

I am replacing guages and other stuff on my Scarab. I bought her with Gaffrig guages, can you guys give me any idea what might be a better guage? There's nothing wrong with the ones I have, just old and I'd like to replace them. I'm also looking at replacing the throttle/transmision handles and probably the cables as well. Also, on the wind deflector the majority of the gelcoat is or has cracked off. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I was going to remove it all and just paint the aluminum substraight white. I'm also thinking of removing the current graffics and updating those also. I'd like to get a list of popular paint strippers from you guys and put one against the other, to see which one removes the paint the best. I'll take pics. and post them so when someone asks again we can have some visual before and after pics. to show them. Anyway, thanks for your time.

As far as the gauges go I have a 33 Scarab and will probably be going with the Auto meters because they have the larger ring like a monster gauge but fit the dash well.

I put the livorsi monster series super rim gauges and shifters and throttles billet racing series and a momo steering wheel in my 29 scarab last year I had to have new dash panels made though they look great. Now this year I put a 5 PSI pro charger on the small blocks with new heads cant wait to run it

You have stock engines or were they modified before you installed the pro-chargers? Sounds like something I may be interested in doing later on down the road.
