Wow! Thats like a once in a lifetime find! AND it even still has the arch and racing hatches still in place. Wish I had the space and knowledge to restore such a beautiful boat. I will always be a HUGE fan of the 38 foot KV...such a timeless design.

You got my vote! I am pulling for you Dave!
This would be "THE PROJECT" for a guy like Glass Dave. I think we should start a contribution fund?

Threw it down sight-unseen.
As soon as I get a trailer lined up I'm going to get it. I've got to go to Lakeland (between Tamp and Orlando) for business on Tuesday but I doubt I'll be able to resist running down there just to check it out and take lots of pics plus hopefully be able to find out more about what has really gone on with this boat over the years.
They emailed me a TON of pics already though. Had someone else with an MV-KV offer to send me all the paint codes and some stripe templates so that'll be a big help if it comes through.
I sell RVs so I have paint, interior, and mechanical guys on staff that can do most of the work. Just crossing my fingers that nothing is rotted. I'm assuming something will be, but hope springs eternal.
Gotta sell some other toys to finance the resto, but at least it will be inside my shop and out of the weather in the meantime.
