Default Scarab 33 V berth storage

Does anybody elses storage under the v berth not have a drain?

I also wonder if anyone has made storage under the side couches and used hinges on the bottom cushion similar to the rear bench?

Mine has a drain. It is a hole drilled in the rear bulkhead of the compartment.

My 38' has less storage than my 31'. My wife hates it. There is storage at the very front of the bow BUT....under the v-berth is tha A/C unit,( tied up over half that area). Ther is no storage behind the port and starboard seats (like the 31'). there is no closet next to the bathroom (like the 31').There is no cabinet on the port side (refrigerator is there). The closet on the left side behind the frig. has a water tank taking up 1/3 of it because---- there is a 50 gal gas tank under the rear seat (again no storage). Ironic, 7 more feet of boat 1/5 the storage space.....Mike
