Have u considered pulling the plug on the teak cab door ?
With the facelift I think it looks a bit out of place.

Just $.02

Major transformation to the boat. good job

Yes I have just haven't found the right material yet!

I would love to go with a smooth lexan door (or something similar) but still want some kind of ventilation and don't want to ruin the look of the lexan with a bunch of ventilation slots!

Any ideas?

Thanks
Jim

Nope.
Although maybe tinted lexan with a couple anodized blue or black side vents standing vertically could look decent if done correctly.
Other than that just lexan and crack the door open when stored for extended periods

Couple little projects I wanted to get done and finally had some time to do them!

1. Custom Drive Guard - never really liked the lights on the trailer or the ****ty location to attach the tie down straps so I figured I would make a drive guard with all LED lights and a place to attach the straps!

2. Custom fender cradles - these will mount on the floor under the driver and passenger bolsters. Keeps the fenders from rolling around the cockpit! I ended up using some PVC lumber from home depot to make the ends and then some polished aluminum tubing and threaded rod to bolt it all together!

I saw a boat recently that had the Lexan door with a "hideaway" screen. The owner could open the door and slide a roll up screen from the starboard side the fastened to the door frame. The screen gives a black matte finish to the opening when you want ventilation and privacy. The screen is one way viewing with pass thru air flow. a company in Miami make the screens for RV's and can custom make them any size. I'll try to get some info because I am going to do the same thing on my Formula.

BTW you Scarab is looking good.

On a lighter note! I built my new wiring harnesses and got them all run!

This is what I need to do. Can you tell me where you procured the wiring harness materials?

Well winter is here so time to start some winter projects!

The first one is to wrap the dash panels with the new graphics theme!

Here is what the cluster looks like now and then what the new graphic wrap will look like! :)
