Just one question...why? Are you going with larger power? I'm all for projects and this is definitely a neat one.
Just curious, keep us posted. 1. I love a challange! 2. I want more speed without having to add a ton of power. From what I hear I am going to pickup 8-10mph. That's hard to achieve in an older boat without a ton of horsepower. In the grand scheme of things this drive conversion is pretty cheap 3. They are bullet proof drives and many parts are still available (besides I have two complete spares) 4. The rooster tail! DUH!! :) |
What was your final speed with the TRS setup?
|
We need more scarabs with roosters on the lake. 😄. Good luck with build, we should do a video with dual roosters.

You're ahead of me. I'd love to see 74 this summer.

With my hydromotive 26 props she ran about 74. I would love to see 80 with the kaama setups!

Did you ever try something different than the Hydrmotives? I could never get any performance out of them on my boat. I thought you were at 76. 74 is still respectable with our straight V slugs and 80 will be nice.
