baja250jc I think I know that boat. When I was looking for my current one the one you have pictured was on my list. At the time it had ~500 hours and was listed $18,000 at Columbia Station, Ohio and, of course, was a 1984. It was on Boat Trader and I liked it a lot at the time but the owners were a major PITA to deal with and I went a different way (they were divorcing at the wife was selling and the husband didn't want to). Still love the Formula paint, however. Here is the only pic I have left on my HD and I still have the original ad downloaded, too as well as all original email correspondence with the owners in 2007. I have to ASSume this is the same boat due to the paint, hours, year, state etc. The ad and pic I have is from August 1, 2007.

I think they are great boats but I'm a little partial. You aren't going to pass a whole lot of people but you'll have a great time. My scarab currently tops out about 50 mph. The bigger the waves the faster it goes. Without knowing anything about the boat I would say the price was right. Assuming little or no work needed to be done.

Dave, you gonna have yours out this summer? I should be... keep a look out for the Baja Ice Breaker. No one has seen my boat since 2006.

Dave, that's a killer deal. I wanted your boat so bad before I bought Bob's. I'd gladly pay that price and more for it. Wish I still had the money. Good luck on your sale, that boat of yours is incredible and very tasteful.

You're moving up IIRC, right?

Best wishes to you,

James
