I think buy u boy still wants to sell his, but you might have to give him a reach around. It's got an upgraded engine and I hae seen it run 75. He says it goes faster. It might. It's a cool little boat.
PM him and see.

yeah the blueish one
it didnt look bad, but something about a 20 year old boat scares me. the scarab was more than that though, some local guy selling it. it would be small and easy enough that i could work on it no problems and only one engine/ outdrive to worry about, and gas would be cheaper.
i just have to go see how much insurance is on one of them, i cant imagine it'd be too much.

Good luck with your search.

I wouldnt have a problem with an older boat, but twin everything is twice as much that could or will go wrong.
side note, last weekend i was on my friends boat watching the hydroplane races and some guy idled up in a 1991 26 scarab with a 540. man that was a pretty boat and sounded awesome.

Don't worry about buy u being 1200 miles away. If you send him a check, he would be 600 miles away in less than 24 hours.

I had a 22 for 10 years. Great boat. 350 MAG ran at 5000 rpms everywhere and never had a problem.
Still have original set of competition graphics for bow of boat if anyone is interested. Bought them as replacements for the original faded ones but never installed them.
