Thunder in paradise

What happened with this? I once read that there were two of those a 43' and a 38' and that one of them was converted in a pleasure boat. Please tell me more and post some better pics.

That was kind of like Batman and Robin traded in the Batmobile for a go fast crime fighting boat.
