Here is a good picture of me removing the hook from the bottom of my Tahiti Jet. you can see how bad this hook was by the amount of fiberglass I had to use to build it up. This hook I think was caused mostly during the molding process but I am not sure.She is a 74 hull!

Got it, thanks Jim. This worked out perfect becasue I've also wondered what the bottom of a jet boat looked like too. Is that what's called a runner bottom?

Aren't 'hooks' built into the hull as constant stern lift in lieu of trim tabs? As well as the transom trailer issue.
