Default 1997 31' Scarab Question

Just bought a 1997 31' Scarab and just wanting to see if some fellow scarab owners can share some knowledge. It is stock with twin MPI 502s and has 23 pitch 3 blade props. Just wondering if anyone has got any better performance out of 4 blade props or a different pitch. What kind of speed can I expect out of this boat. I haven't had a gps on it yet to check it. Thanks for any assistance.

Congrats on the new boat. I love mine. IMO, you should be in the low to mid 70's. I run 4 blades on mine, 26p. I am not a prop man so hopefully someone else can help you out.

Thanks for the reply. Does yours have the MPI 502s?

My 96 had 26 four blades with hp 500 motors. 23 three blade seem's real small.
