5200 RPM is what you want. You want to be able to kiss the Redline and get the max speed. I presently have a bravo 24 on my 29 that does not let my engine get passed 4900 and that's not great either. The 3 blade took for ever to get me out of the hole. I also have a shorty and that didn't help the leaning problem. The problem was resolved when I went to a left hand prop.....Fountains also seem to have this problem.
I am also getting a little chine walk on top end. I have some Kiekhaefer tabs I am considering bolting on but they may be overkill. Who else is running tabs on their 22? |
me, i have those electric tabs and i keep bending them, iam going to double the stanless on them , i never use them but i think i ride on them at full speed and when i hit hard i think the take a hard scott

i put them in my self, they are not a factory option, I will get some pics for you scott
