I have a 97 Scarab jet that has a locked up 4.3 Volvo jet in it. My 1st thought was just to replace the motor with another 4.3 but after thinking about it a small block would be cool. Anyone done this before?

There was a 19 Scarab Jet listed on ebay a while back that had a big block in place of the 4.3... It was still a jet drive but I don't recall if it was the stock jet drive....

Stick with the 4.3l add a mild cam, thru hull exhaust and switch to an Alpha, I have a 96 and it will run 60 all day long with impressive acceleration.
