Find your oil coolers, pull the incoming water hose off the end, and stick your fingers in the end of the cooler and see if there is any rubber impeller pieces blocking it. Check both motors. This doesnt take very long, and is worth the piece of mind sir.

I have my temp sender in the oil pan and if I run 4k for about 10 mins, it will climb up to around 240. It does seem to level out there when running it hard for along time. I think where you mount the sender can have a difference on the temps also. I have seen people put it on the remote oil filter adapter, but i dont know how much difference it makes on reading temps.
