hi ive got a 22' scarab and im looking for the horn grille my plastic is cracked, i know im not the only one who has had this problem just wondering how others have fixed this?
Also i know this has been beat to death on here but im trying to decide on prop selection, i run a 25p mirage + at 79 on the GPS and at 5600~5800 rpm wot bravo one 1.5 gears, i would like to slow the motor down a little, to spare the out drive a little and have my full roller 496 i had built live a nice easy LONG life, i know there is not much left in these hulls at top end, i just want a better all around performance and if i break 80, all the better.
my thoughts were either
A a 29p mirage +
B a B1 28p
How much slower will the 29 be out of the hole than my 25?
what could i expect from a 28p b1 four blade? holeshot, mid and wot? will it keep me from lifting the bow up to dry the hull up and would it take a more stable set?

I tried a 28 P Bravo 1 on my old 22. Usually ran a labbed 25 mirage plus. The boat handled so much better, especially in the rough stuff. Ran a little slower, but I didn't have enough power to push it. I think you will be fine. I would try the 28 4 blade
