ive tried all kinds of props on my boat (1990 excel 28: its for sale by the way)
tried bravo props, mirage props, mach props, 3 and 4 blade......
the best pro i have found is a mercury offshore series 4 blade....im running 21 pitch. it comes ou t the hole great and tops my boat out at 61 mph @ 5000 rpm, faster than any of the rest. (basically stock 454 mag with msd hei ignition).
its an outboard prop but im tellin ya...it was just what my boat needed. rides high up on the pad and crashes waves really well.
