So many posts but I need help.
I cant find any good links for an owners manual. I want to get one and a service manual.
I would love to know my hp, wot rpm and such. I have read that my motor has a wot of 4600 rpm, but with my 24p 4b I hit 5000 rpm (65 mph gps). So am I overturning this motor?
I have seen plenty of posts that think this is a good prop but so many that list others. I am so confused and would hate to hurt this motor. I bought the boat a couple months ago ran it a hand full of times and have put it away for the winter. I want to get things figured out and fixed up.
7.4 LX MPI is what is on the motor

I did the search before I posted and saw those. This is where my confusion comes in because the first site lists a 7.4L and a 454 Mag. I dont see where my motor matches these.
Mine say 7.4 LX MPI so is that a Mag? It matches my rpm better that I actually see of 5000 +/- but I guess I didnt think I had a mag, hope I do.

7.4 ltr = 454cu.in
MPI = Multi-Port Injection
The MAG package is a performance package. Not sure all the details but different heads, different cam, different pistons, etc.
Not sure what the LX stands for?
Easiest thing to do may be to locate the serial number and compare it to the merc manual!
