Default 38 Scarab Excel

Hi oso'ers, while i am waiting for someone to pick my aeromarine ix...i found near me a 1990's scarab excel 38, paint scheme black/maroon with scarab sign on the side...
What is the difference between this one and the 38 with the enclosed head ? since i use the boat in the weekends, the enclosed head would be really appreciated, just wanting to know if it is doable on this one or not.
boat does 58 kn max with 2x502 mpi and bravo ones.
any info would be really appreciated, Thanks.

Great boat if it is clean and has been mostly dry its whole life.

Here she is....i erased the numbers for privacy, since it is not mine at the moment :-))
Been a while that i don't sit in a fastboat due to various projects...miss the thrill...
Do you think it is better a cafe racer or this ?
My only issue is that this boat does not have an enclosed head, but for my opinion maybe it is possible to make the cabin like a 38 scarab thunder, the space must be the same..

Great boat... I looked at several of them before picking up my 38 AVS. Not the fastest boats on the water, but very nice ride and solidly built. I would think an enclosed head could be doable, but might be more work than what it's worth. Good luck!

Been sea trialing last week....boat does clean 59 kn on the gps with stock stainless bravo 1 props, 3 blades. I think with 4 or 5 blades should pick up a couple of knots, am i wrong ?
The 502 were singing like babies, someone please buy my aeromarine so i can close the deal and run fast again !!!!
I confirm, a great example of a solid as a rock boat !
