Default 2001 29 scarab worth?

Im looking at a 2001 29 scarab with low hour, like 150, 350's, bravo drives, k-planes, hydraulic steering, basically all the bells and wistles they came with on a steel trailer. I feel that I offered a fair price, but the broker thinks I am way off as I think they are. Just wanted to get everyones opinions on what they think it would be worth.

Thanks

Did you actually look at it yet? I would guess between 35 - 45k, depending on the condition... Liink?

No I haven't looked at it in person. But the broker is on crack. Asking 58k for it!

The post shows as "being flagged for removal"...

you could find a Donzi 28zx Scorpion edition and run circles around the Scarab for $58k, and even that would be a little steep.

I saw your other thread and what those guys say is spot on (not that Im any expert). Wait till end of season, sellers will come down pretty good ater summer's done.

http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/boa/3089699780.html This is in Cincinnati by me I'm just not looking for twins right now. I'm leaving here at midnight to go look at and most likely buy a 1997 Scarab 26 with a 500hp in Iowa tomorrow.
