Default Gauges

I have a 29 foot, 1994 Scarab, I want to upgrade the gauges, what brand should I buy? And are they a bolt in design or will I have to improvise? Thanks.

Auto Meter Marine Gauges ---- they make a small cat. for the marine version and yes they are a direct bolt -in if you use the same dia. gauge. .The nice thing about the gauges if some thing goes wrong with them you can send them back in and they can be repaired with out a big hassel

Im in the same boat (no pun intended).... I am upgrading the gauges on my 38' scarab... I wanted to go with gaffrig and put an order in through their website...it has been a week and they have responded, charged my card, or anything... I would like to find a gaffrig dealer and maybe just buy them from there....pretty crazy that they would just blow off a $1k order but whatever floats their boat...I'm just suprised...

The original brand in my 1990 was VDO. They served me well for about 15 years. I tried another popular brand, but they fell short of the intended mark from a quality and service standpoint. I went back to VDO with their Ocean Series. Do a search for VDO gauges.

I`m going to look at them all, I have the boat down now, had to go through a motor. The gauges look like a pain though.
I like the wrap idea, looks good.
