Guys I have finished up rewiring the whole underneath of my dash due to previous owners thinking they knew anything about wires . I have installed an in dash color gps and all new gauges. The issue I have is I believe all these model 31 excels have a round spring loaded switch to raise and lower the hatch if you have one you will know exactly what I am talking about. My switch was sticky so I decided I would clean it out with elec. contact cleaner. BIG mistake as soon as I sprayed it the whole thing exploded now I am left with not being able to figure out how to wire it. I have gotten a new switch the mechanical part and new NO and NC switches which is what I assume it had . Mine has 8 contacts I believe. If anyone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.
