Default 99 38 avs with 502 in classifieds

anyone no why this boat hasn't sold 65 k looks in decend shape has anyone seen it in person i'm kinda interested in it any thoughts would be great

The boat needs a little TLC, but nothing major... just cosmetic stuff. That dealership moves a lot of boats and prices them aggressively. Might be worth a call.

Full disclosure: I own a '99 38 AVS so I'm a little biased!

hey shallow how does it handle the rough water, and is it under powered with the 502's would it hit 70 mph??

The 38 handles rough water very well, comparable to a T/S Top Gun, etc. The stepped-hull eliminated some of the "slapping" against the water the older flat-bottoms had. I'm on LOTO every weekend with no complaints. As for speeds, yes, I think you'd be right at 70 MPH with that set-up.

Not sure what you're running now, but they're always open to trades, too. Good luck.
