Default 33 avs owners step question..

I bought a lift last fall but it's for a strait V, I need to rebunk it for the steps but the boat is still in storage and a long ways away. from the transom, how far foward are the steps?

At the keel, roughly 12' and 6'4". At the chine, roughly 11'4" and 6'2". They are approx 1 - 1 1/8 tall.

Not sure where your lift is located (Topeka, LOTO?) but most of the dock/lift companies at LOTO have the spec's on a variety of hulls. They knew exactly where to place the bunks for my 38 AVS. Maybe give them a call if you're a DIY guy. Good luck, love the 33's!

are they that shallow? I thought that when I was playing with it last summer it was about the thinkness of a 2x4.

I was to general and trying to be quick because I had to get to work, not that that helped you. The front one is 1 1/4, and the rear is between 1 3/8 and 1 1/2, as you said. I put a tape on them to double check.

the fore and aft measurements were good.
