Yes sir. If or as other people that are on here say when it breaks a drive, I can replace or rebuild for $600 to $1800. Xr will break as well as bravo1 but a lot money to replace or repair. No issues as of yet. If I ever do change drives I'll switch to konrad ace on boxes with a trans or imco. Testing some 32 pitch props in a couple weeks.

5 years later, how did the boat go in those last years 5050? engines still strong? drives still holding up?

Running great, about 60hrs on engines and drives bravo 1’s 32 4 blade. 5800 in 90 degree heat and
60% Humidity, runs 90,91 any day of week. 70’s and 10% humidity will spin 6000 95gps. Knock on wood no broken bravos yet.

3 seasons on new engines. Really only 2 summers. Last year lakes here were all flooded and only went out 4 times.

built a 99 with zz572/620 made 680 on dyno with few mods. Bought a 2001 and built 604ci/800s 95gps.
