wow i am impressed with how quick this has gone tohether i am on summer number 3. it better be completed by the end of june at the latest. I did you enclose the fuel tank pick ups and senders? it lookes like you glassed over it?

hblair 05-21-2014 12:08 PM

Yeah the pickup and hoses are under the glass in the center. Just think of it as a lid that you'll probably never have to open, but if you do, you just open it with a very carefully placed hole saw.:)

wow! Very Nice Sir --- Any idea on how many man hours you guys have in it?

hblair 05-22-2014 11:44 AM

Well since about October we average prolly 3 nights a week 5:30 til 10 or 11, and 2-3 all day Saturdays a month. Usually 2 guys, sometimes just me, sometimes 4 of us. I've actually enjoyed this because this is the first offshore boat I have owned. I don't see me doing another one like this (stringers and transom) unless it's a boat that makes economic sense. These boats, although cool, neat looking, well designed, just aren't worth that much money.

hblair 05-22-2014 12:40 PM

So I guess about 30 hrs. a week since October, and keep in mind this after hours stuff aint near as efficient as what we do during the workday. If this were a paying customer job it would prolly take 1/4 the time. But this kind of stuff is what helps keep me sane.
