38 avs scarab 525's?
Pulled stock 502's and considering upgrade to 525's. Anyone else done this? Will they fit properly? I need to purchase exhaust, suggestions? Hooking onto the Bravo one drives, shouldn't be a problem? Any prop advice? Was running the stock bravo 26... Thanks for help!

For the kind of money you will spend on merc 525 efi's you have allot of other options. 5050 is going the GM ZZ572 rout which is great bang for your buck option. Or how about something like this?

If factory warranty is what your looking for the new Mercury racing 520 would be worth a look

Well my boat was under powered like yours and mine had 26 bravo 1 that were spinning 4900. Im going to try 28 with my 572 to spin motors 5700. My guess is with 525s probably a 28 or 30 pitch spinning 5000/5200. Im sure someone will chime in with actual props and motor combo.

Bought both of them slightly used, smokin deal. They look it too. I'm tearing them down over winter checking clearances, torque plate hone, rering, bearing, switch ferrea exhaust valve out to ferrea inconel, maybe a little head work and angle mill slightly and dyno tune. Hopefully right around 700 Hp

Yes they are zz572/620 crates. Callies crank, j&e pistons, ferrea does valves called ferrea and talked to a tech guy that actually handles that department with GM, not sure who does H beam rods, heard Callie's and also heard eagle so not sure on that. Definately good parts. Using same cams. Changing out exhaust valves carb and distributor.
