I was wondering what props work best on these boat. im looking at one, an 84 38ft with stock 330. the props are really beat and was wondering what direction to go

Trs drives? Probably , i have a set of 3 blade 23p that would work nice on it .

Well i got some more info from the guy, it has 19p MI wheel 3 blades on it right know and with 3-4 people in the boat full fuel, the boat would run low 40s and 4400 rpm. Is that typical for these boats? And yes, TRS drive

Heavy boat , need alot of horsepower to move these things , what condition are motors? Is it a kv or the 37,7 with staggered set up ?

the guy said it was a 377, but there is no step. its been painted once, and know it has a vinyl wrap on it, so no original markings. motor i have no clue, they look stock, not sure how many hours on them, they look like they have been apart, but no one knows anything else.

Trs drives are buried on these boats because of prop technology then , probably cleaver style prop . The kv's with 420 merc's i think went upper 50's.

so low to mid 40s is pretty normal for this boat? im thinking of getting some mirage plus props for it. im thinking of staying with the 19p and see where we wined up. thanks for the info.
