My factory gauge stopped working so i bought the humminbird hdr650 but seems I can't get this thing to read. I tried the water in a bag with the transducer and moved it around as much as possible in that tight area under the engine and still nothing. The transducer reads when I place it in a bucket so I know its good. Any ideas?

The factory gauge uses a round puck type that I can't get out so tried directly behind it still nothing...

I havent glued it in yet, I even dumped a bucket of water in the bilge so there wouldnt be any air between the transducer and the hull and still cant get a reading
